7 weeks already!

I can NOT believe that Gavin will be 7 weeks old on Wednesday- where in the world has the time gone!?

The last few weeks have been an amazing blur of sheer happiness. Gavin completely fills my day with love and joy. I feel like I can't stare at him enough, can't hold him enough, and can't hug and kiss him enough.

  • He has started smiling (not gas produced...actual smiles) and making noises that aren't grunts and cries over the last two weeks.

  • He weighs just over 10 pounds-- which is quite a jump from his 7 pound, 5 ounce birth weight. He is also closing in on 23 inches long now too! So, he is growing quite well!

  • At 5 1/2 weeks we took him to his first restaurant- California Pizza Kitchen. He slept through the whole experience. :)

  • He loves to be swaddled and loves to be held by his Mommy and Daddy

  • He'll sleep anywhere from 3-6 hours straight at night...Mommy is keeping her fingers crossed for a 6 hour sleep tonight! :)



    • Here are some pictures of him up through 7 weeks. I promise to actually post here at least weekly from now on with how he's growing!

    He is so amazing and I can not believe how much love I have in my heart for him already.
